Climate Change Keynote (April 2024)

My opening Keynote address for AIA LA’s 7th Annual Symposium on Climate Change, a conference dedicated to reducing Upfront Embodied Carbon emissions. An eye-opener focusing on the veracity and efficacy of what we can do now—described by one viewer as a “masterclass . . . about the importance of embodied carbon in the built environment, and a logical, systematic approach to addressing upfront emissions”.

AIA LA’s 1.5 °C Symposium on Climate Change addressed the reality of dealing with “upfront” Embodied Carbon attributable to building designs and construction.
